Unveiled in Milan, Italy, the EX30 marks Volvo's entry into the small premium SUV segment, expanding its growing lineup of electric vehicles to four models. As the automotive market rapidly shifts towards full electrification, the EX30 positions itself to meet the increasing demand for electric cars in this fast-growing segment.

Priced attractively at around EUR 36,000, the Volvo EX30 offers customers a premium, all-electric SUV at a competitive price point. Additionally, it is available through the Care by Volvo subscription package, providing a hassle-free ordering process with transparent pricing.

Jim Rowan, Volvo's CEO, emphasizes the significance of the EX30, stating, "The fully electric EX30 might be our smallest ever SUV, but it's a big deal for our customers and a big deal for us as a company."

The Volvo EX30 showcases Volvo's design values in a compact form, featuring a balanced exterior with a long wheelbase, large wheels, and distinctive electric design elements. With five vibrant exterior colors, the EX30 exudes character and personality, reflecting its commitment to individual expression.

Offering flexibility in powertrain options, Volvo provides three choices and two battery types for the EX30, allowing customers to tailor their driving experience. The range includes a single-motor option with an LFP battery for urban commuting, a single-motor extended-range variant for maximized range, and a high-performance twin-motor variant for enthusiasts.

Charging is quick and efficient, with the extended-range Twin Motor variant capable of charging up to 153kW, allowing for a 10-80% charge in just over 25 minutes. The EX30's chassis is tuned for optimal performance, combining a low center of gravity with evenly distributed weight for a nimble driving experience.
















In terms of sustainability, the EX30 aims to have the lowest carbon footprint of any Volvo car, showcasing the company's commitment to reducing emissions across the entire production and lifecycle. Safety features, including technology to prevent 'dooring' accidents with cyclists, demonstrate Volvo's dedication to protecting occupants and others in urban environments.

Inside the EX30, cutting-edge technology meets thoughtful Scandinavian design. The vehicle boasts a contextual single-screen user experience with Google integration and the latest infotainment system. The new Park Pilot Assist feature facilitates various parking maneuvers, making parking in tight spaces effortless.

Digital key functionality, software updates over the air, and a choice of five ambient lighting themes inspired by Scandinavian landscapes contribute to the EX30's convenience and comfort.
