Porsche has unveiled a comprehensive upgrade for the 2025 Taycan, enhancing its electric performance, range, charging speed, and overall efficiency.The refreshed model lineup also receives sharper design elements, upgraded standard features, and the latest Porsche Driver Experience with an improved digital interface.

The 2025 Porsche Taycan update applies across all three body styles from launch:
Taycan Sports Sedan
Taycan Cross Turismo (available with Off-Road Design Package)
Taycan Sport Turismo
All variants offer four powertrain options, including rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations.
Enhanced Electric Performance and Acceleration
All updated Taycan models now accelerate significantly faster than before. For instance:
Taycan base model: 0–100 km/h in 4.8 seconds (0.6 sec faster)
Taycan Turbo S: 0–100 km/h in 2.4 seconds (0.4 sec faster)
With the Sport Chrono Package, drivers can activate a "push-to-pass" boost of up to 70 kW for 10 seconds. The Taycan Turbo S now delivers 700 kW (952 PS) with Launch Control — a boost of 140 kW over the previous version.
Up to 678 km Range and Faster Charging
The updated Taycan offers up to 678 km (WLTP) of electric range — an increase of 175 km, or 35% more than its predecessor. Other major battery and charging upgrades include:
Performance Battery Plus capacity increased from 93 kWh to 105 kWh
800V DC charging capacity increased to 320 kW (up 50 kW)
10–80% charge time reduced from 37 to 18 minutes at 15°C
Sustained 300 kW+ charging for up to 5 minutes, even at low temps
New Porsche Active Ride Suspension
All models now include adaptive air suspension as standard. The new Porsche Active Ride system (optional on AWD models) ensures:
Constant level body position during braking, steering, and acceleration
Maximum ride comfort with excellent road connection
Reduced body roll and pitch for enhanced passenger comfort
Smoother handling across varying driving modes
Improved Efficiency Through Powertrain Upgrades

Global Testing and Production Milestones
Ahead of launch, Porsche engineers logged over 3.6 million test kilometers worldwide in camouflaged prototypes. Since the Taycan's debut in 2019, nearly 150,000 units have been delivered globally. The U.S., U.K., Germany, and Chinaremain the most important markets for this electric performance icon.
