Lamborghini Fenomeno: The Pinnacle of Design, Performance, and Innovation

Automobili Lamborghini has unveiled the Fenomeno, an ultra-limited production super sports car with only 29 units available worldwide. Representing the brand's boldest expression of innovation, design, and performance, the Fenomeno is a celebration of Lamborghini’s heritage and the 20th anniversary of its design hub, Centro Stile.

A Design Manifesto Born from Heritage

The Lamborghini Fenomeno is not just a new model—it's a design manifesto that pushes the brand's most iconic styling cues to their limits. The vehicle features exclusive aerodynamic solutions, a new generation hybrid powertrain, and a hyper-sculpted carbon fiber design inspired by the Italian marque’s DNA.

It is powered by Lamborghini's most powerful V12 engine to date, paired with three electric motors, delivering a combined 1,080 CV. The naturally aspirated V12 contributes 835 CV, while the electric motors provide an additional 245 CV.

Celebrating Lamborghini’s Few-Off Legacy

Fenomeno follows a distinguished lineage of few-off Lamborghini models, including the Reventón (2007)Sesto Elemento (2010)Veneno (2013)Centenario (2016)Sián (2019), and Countach LPI 800-4 (2021). Each represents a unique milestone in design and technology.

The name Fenomeno—Italian and Spanish for “phenomenal”—pays tribute to a legendary bull spared for its exceptional qualities in a 2002 Morelia bullfight.

Advanced Hybrid Powertrain: 1,080 CV of Combined Power

The Fenomeno’s powertrain architecture combines a 6.5-liter V12 engine with three electric motors, including one integrated into the new 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Key highlights:

V12 Engine Output: 835 CV at 9,250 rpm
Electric Motors: 245 CV combined
Total Output: 1,080 CV
Torque: 725 Nm from the V12, plus 350 Nm from the front motors
Battery: 7 kWh lithium-ion battery enabling EV mode and four-wheel drive
Top Speed: Over 350 km/h
0–100 km/h: 2.4 seconds
0–200 km/h: 6.7 seconds
Weight-to-power ratio: 1.64 kg/CV

The two front e-motors offer torque vectoring and regenerative braking, while the rear e-motor contributes additional torque and allows for full-electric driving in select modes.

Chassis and Transmission: Lightweight and Track-Ready

The powertrain is housed within a carbon fiber monofuselage, inspired by aeronautics and first seen in the Reventón. The Forged Composite® front structure ensures strength and weight optimization. The new 8-speed DCT, mounted transversely, improves packaging and handling balance.

Braking and Suspension Systems from Motorsport

The CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic braking system, derived from endurance racing, offers exceptional durability, thermal stability, and braking efficiency under extreme loads. The Fenomeno also features fully adjustable racing shocks, designed to maintain ideal body control across various driving scenarios, particularly on track.

6D Sensor and Vehicle Dynamics: Real-Time Control

Fenomeno introduces a 6D sensor system, a first in any Lamborghini, which monitors real-time data across six axes of movement (lateral, longitudinal, vertical, pitch, roll, and yaw). Integrated with Lamborghini’s IVE (Integrated Vehicle Estimator) and IPB (Integrated Power Brake) systems, it allows precise predictive control of vehicle dynamics, brake behavior, and slip control under all driving conditions.

Bespoke Bridgestone Potenza Tires

Bridgestone has developed custom-engineered Potenza Sport tires for the Fenomeno, available in 265/30 ZRF21(front) and 355/25 ZRF22 (rear). The tires support Run Flat Technology and are also available in semi-slick track variants, delivering high-grip performance while remaining road legal.

Exterior Design: Bold, Longtail Elegance

Fenomeno introduces a fresh and elegant take on Lamborghini's radical design language. Its elongated silhouette draws inspiration from the Essenza SCV12, while the sculpted body incorporates carbon fiber aero elements and functional design lines.

Highlights include:

New DRL Signature: Inspired by the horns of the Lamborghini bull logo
Air Curtains & S-Ducts: Reduce drag and enhance cooling
Concave Roof Profile: Optimizes airflow to the rear wing and engine bay
Active Omega Rear Wing: Enhances stability at high speed
Forged Single-Nut Rims: Designed for both style and performance

Interior: Driver-Focused, Carbon-Fiber Intensive

The cockpit embraces Lamborghini’s "Feel like a pilot" philosophy. A minimalist dashboard with three digital displaysreduces distractions, while the use of 3D-printed carbon fiber air vents, custom bucket seats, and a central sport padreinforces the performance aesthetic.

The ambient lighting system enhances the cabin’s futuristic layout, and customers can personalize their Fenomeno through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program, offering over 400 exterior colors and nearly unlimited interior combinations.

Sustainability and Innovation

The Virtual Tyre Development technology used in creating the Fenomeno’s tires significantly reduces environmental impact during R&D. Additionally, the hybrid architecture and advanced regenerative braking help enhance energy efficiency and reduce emissions during operation.
